Enjoy this wonderful interview with the actor playing the lead in the world premiere of the play AMON! The Ultimate Texan.

“You can’t go to downtown Fort Worth and not feel the presence of this man. And he’s been dead for 64 years,” he says about Amon Carter.

“In order for us to understand Fort Worth, we have to understand Amon Carter because that’s where we came from.”

Dilks is a highly-popular history and drama teacher, now retired, who was elected to the school board in Birdville ISD near Fort Worth where he taught for many years.
