FIRST TIME a bootleg audio has been smuggled out of a recent live recording of the new hit play about Amon "Mr. Fort Worth" Carter. In this brief 1 minute clip, actor Kelvin Dilks, playing the legendary Fort Worth media tycoon, recalls how he hired Broadway Billy Rose to run the 1936 Texas Centennial's "show of all shows." NBC5 in Dallas/Fort Worth was founded 71 years ago by a Texas giant -- Amon G. Carter. Now his station's Larry Collins examines a new play on their station's founder. He pronounces the coming Amon Carter play as "excellent" and says the play will renew your love for Fort Worth, North Texas and Texas as a whole.
